Thought I would just keep posting beauty. Yup, I know. It’s a tough job, but somebody’s gotta do it.
It’s been a bit of a dismal week here…no sunshine for the most part. Every once in a great while it will peek through and tease me and then go away again. Oh, come back, sunshine. sigh.
However, that is why I have been gazing upon all the handmade goodness found on sites like etsy. It doesn’t hurt to get going on christmas shopping. And this year I am wanting our holiday to be simpler, easier, and more joyful than in the past. Now, shopping handmade won’t make you happier, that is something you’re gonna have to figure out on your own. But, I do guarantee that finding ways to make gifts personal just might make you slow down a bit and actually think about the person who will be on the other end of it, whatever it is.
So, I’m posting another “window” shopping favorite. (It doesn’t have windows, obviously. But it’s a nice place to go to see pretty things and sigh and be glad that someone still cares about details).
Oh, yes. This site makes me drool. Check. Out. The. Booties.

‘Nuf said.
And how about this felt flower pin?

U-huh. Told ya.
So, enjoy Tiny Happy’s Melissa, and all her handmade fabulousness. Oh, yeah. She’s got a blog too. You won’t want to leave.

This week I have been scrolling through various online shops that boast all manner of handmade yumminess.

One of my all-time faves is inleaf designs. Both the blog and the shop are full of the kind of artistic genius I didn’t think was possible with items that are so simple and sleek. Lotta has shown herself to be quite adept at continually creating new accessories and pieces of art that never fail to amaze me. So go check out her blog and her shop and drink it in.
I do believe I will be very tactfully letting my husband know that these moss green, queen anne’s lace sachets are on my Christmas list. *wink*
My sweaters will be thanking me.

Just in case you try to look up and realize your nose is firmly planted in your navel, take a few moments to catch up on nienie’s blog. It puts everything quite nicely in perspective.
